Wilfredo Colmenares, M.Sc.

Short Bio:

Wilfredo Colmenares has been pursuing his doctoral studies since January 2024 in the Application-Specific Computing Group, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Robert Strzodka. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Autonomous University of the Caribbean, Colombia, and a Master’s degree in Computer Simulation in Sciences from the University of Wuppertal, Germany. His research interests encompass numerical linear algebra, with a particular focus on Krylov subspace solvers and parallel algorithm techniques, including pipelining.
