Short Bio:
Shahmir Khan is a doctoral candidate in the Application-Specific Computing group under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Robert Strzodka. His research focuses on parallel computing and high-performance numerical methods, with an emphasis on the fast solution of large sparse linear systems and their implementations. Shahmir holds a double-degree Master’s in Mathematical Engineering from the University of L’Aquila and Brno University of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Sukkur IBA University. His academic background includes numerical analysis, stochastic modeling, and scientific computing.
